Special Recognition
Amber
Hines, a rising senior at Wilson Classical High
School, brought home the bronze medal from the
NAACP 29th National ACT-SO Competition held in
Arlington, Virginia July 12-16. Amber competed
in the Science-Architecture category. She
designed and built a beach house model at 1/4
scale. Her award included $1,000 and a wireless
laptop computer. Amber's goals are to major in
Architectural Design in college. She was also
approached by one of the judges at the
competition and offered a full scholarship to
Howard University should she decide to attend
there in the fall of 2007. Amber is one of the
teenagers who has faithfully assisted us in
ministry. Thank you for being an excellent
student, and glorifying God in your studies.
